Heating technique: All Signia rails are fluid-filled, and use a superior thermal convection technique. They don’t require expensive power control units. Note that we DO NOT use the potentially unsafe dry elements in our rails. Towels are best aired and dried with towels folded in half, and in half again (4 layers). Safety: Signia heated towel rails are SABS approved and are safe to install in all bathroom zones (IPX5). An element with a built-in thermostat and cut-out switch safely controls the surface temperature. Unlike standard dry element rails which can reach in excess of 100°C, Signia ensures a safe surface temperature of 60°C maximum (International Standard) - Signia towel rails are never a threat to prying little fingers. Quality: Superior chrome technology ensures a tough, durable, scratch resistant and practical surface. The entire rail is constructed from quality, maintenance-free materials: generous use of nickel, copper and chrome during the plating process ensures that Signia rails remain in tip top condition. All rails have been pressure tested for leaks. Maintenance: The chrome surface finish is durable and easy to clean. Prior to cleaning, please ensure that power supply to the towel rail is off. For best results, wipe the rail with a damp cloth and buff with a dry cloth. Do not use an abrasive cleaner or metal polish on any part of the rail. |
